The ŠKODA KAROQ impresses with modern exterior design. Just like the ŠKODA KODIAQ large SUV, the compact five-door is a true representation of the brand’s SUV design language. The clear lines with precise contours underline the all-rounder’s dynamism.
The considerably three-dimensional design of the front section is shaped by clean-cut headlights. The long wheelbase provides generous interior dimensions. The side is characterised by short overhangs, a sloping roofline that is visually extended by a line in the D-pillar, and a tapered rear.
Compact SUV with clear design language
With its design, the ŠKODA KAROQ is a true representation of the brand’s new SUV design language. The front section is characterised by the split headlight units, the striking radiator grille and the powerfully built bumper.
The tornado line, which runs from the headlights to the rear, visually structures the body. The angular wheel arches are framed by wide trims – a typical feature of ŠKODA’s SUV design language. The wheel arch moulding, which is available as an option for the all-wheel-drive variants, additionally accentuates the ŠKODA KAROQ’s off-road character.
The horizontal lines at the rear emphasise the body’s width. The tail lights are split in two: their outer sections are set within the side panel frames, with the inner sections embedded within the tailgate. The tail lights, brake lights and number plate illumination at the rear feature LED technology. The tail light is styled in a C-shape, typical of ŠKODA.
Full-LED headlights with adaptive lighting control, LED fog lights with cornering function The ŠKODA KAROQ is fitted with halogen headlights and fog lights as standard, as well as LED daytime running lights. The compact SUV is optionally available with full-LED headlights that produce both the dipped and high beam. The full-LED headlights come with an adaptive lighting control feature. The AFS adaptive front headlight function adjusts the headlights to provide the best possible lighting for the driving situation and conditions.
The full-LED headlights also include LED fog lights with cornering function. These are also available as an individual option.

Atmospheric feel in the interior: LED ambient lighting and LED light pack
The optional LED ambient lighting creates atmospheric lighting in the ŠKODA KAROQ’s interior. The horizontal LED lighting strips in the doors, on the passenger side of the dashboard and on both sides of the steering wheel can be individually configured. There is a choice of ten lighting colours. To prevent the driver from being distracted, both of the LED lighting strips next to the steering wheel switch off as soon as the ŠKODA KAROQ starts moving.
Indirect illumination of the centre console provides additional atmosphere in the interior. This is produced by the LED units in the roof lining that form part of the optional LED light pack. Another component of the LED light pack is the projection of the ŠKODA brand logo, which is visible on the ground next to the vehicle when the doors are opened. The LED light sources for the projection are built into the underside of the front doors.
